I know all the boys want some hot Heroes Cheerleader action, but the girls I know would like some hot Petrelli action. He and Zachary Quinto (Sylar) did a photo shoot for Zink Magainze . While Zachary is also good looking, I can’t get over him playing one of Tori’s Spellings best GAY friends for So noTORIous. So when I see him, I mostly want to go shopping for kitchen gadgets.

p.s. I guess this guy has had a following since Gilmore Girls? Still haven’t watched that show…

I am still in search of a home, but in some ways I’ve been more productive with GirlHack than I had been with a home (maybe couches really ARE magical?) For example, I got permission just this morning, to use music from the same band (Bis) that did the intro for Powerpuff Girls!! More on that later :) (Thanks Manda Rin!!)

Anyhow, I got a chance to do a little filming this week for some podcast friends! This past Sunday I got to go “direct” and “edit” my second episode (ep 33) of Girls on Film (2 Girls, 2 Films). The first episode I did was ep 27 (back in June) and I had a really awesome time after the shoot getting to sit around and talk about being girls out in this industry (more the entertainment type vs the tech type). The two of them crack me up and remind me sort of my sisters, so I always love hanging out. However, they accidentally forgot to thank me during the show (which really didn’t bother me at all) and so they made a point out of thanking me this time on the show.

Now, I’ve been running around working 6 days a week and usually moving stuff on the 7th day… so I was a bit out of it and managed to… not be on top of my game? It did make for a great ending after they thanked me, but you have to crank up the volume to hear poor Suzanne :(

“You say… I only hear what I want to,” just came blasting out my speakers as I was playing WoW and I decided it was time to finally update. (”And I turn the radio on, turn the radio up” oh how many girls, friends and strangers alike, that I’ve sang that song with. Did you know Lisa Loeb had a show? Never saw it.)

Anyhow, the other day a reader (Ms. Em!) sent me a link to some new crazy makeup contraption that HP is making. Apparently HP has pinpointed that a girl’s biggest problem with makeup is figuring out what colors look good on her. They claim this device will be able to take a cell phone image and within seconds, text back colors the user should go purchase.

Okay, I have a few issues with this device:

1. I hope it seriously comes with a manual on proper lighting, otherwise I have no idea how they expect to get “proper skin tones” for individuals from CELL PHONE cameras.
2. Explain to me, what sort of rule of thumb colors they plan to tell customers to buy. Will it secretly be the colors in season by makeup companies sponsoring the device? Or more from the lines of “winter/spring/summer/fall” color schemes (I still don’t understand that stuff, but a chart is to the left).
3. Does it work for zombies??

I still consider my makeup skills to be that of a low level pawn (or journeymen?), so I wouldn’t actually consider a device like this that much help due to confusion of what to even put on my face. I’d MUCH rather have the device from The Fifth Element that Lelu uses to put her face on. When does THAT come out? What do you kids think?
